My kids, my family

Two things that mean everything to me, are my kids and my family. I have four kids, a wife, my mother, and uncles, all of whom are most important in my life and who inspire me to do and be better. In life, we prioritize things that matter most to us, and that which matters most to us inspires our every action and thought, for me, that is my kids and family. We as human beings often put priorities on desires, jobs, or materialism and end up neglecting what and who is most important in our lives. It’s only when a loss occurs that the realization sets in that we’ve neglected those who should be priorities in life.

At the time of writing this, my kids are 13-12-7-5 years old, my two oldest are boys and the two youngest are girls. All four of my kids are individuals, each follows the beat of their own drums and has their own unique personalities (none are trying to be like me or my wife). My wife, who at the time of writing this is 40 years old, has been my rock, my better half, and the person who inspires me to be a better version of myself every day.

I am a firm believer in simplifying life, therefore my kids, my family are at the top of my list of priorities, everything else is inspired by them or done because of them. Everything I do and am today is a bi-product of my love for my kids and my family, a motivation that has led me down many paths, to the point where I am today. Family is everything to me, it’s my reason for waking up in the morning, my motivation to press on, and my absolute joy.
